Objective:
Discover the python programming language.

Method:
Use the coursework in CompuScholar to gain familiarity with the Python programming language. Make sure to read through all supplied material and complete all activities and quizzes.

Turn In:
CompuScholar keeps track of progress and overall grades for each quiz and exam.

Objective:
Learn how to tell a compelling story with a simple character. This project is a culmination of mostly all that you have learned so far.

Method:
Use this Pluralsight Course to plan and execute a brief animation from start to finish. Make sure to watch and listen as you follow along. This is going to be rather challenging. There are some new concepts sprinkled in to what should mostly be a review. He is also working in Maya 2016 so there will be some changes. Make sure to research and troubleshoot your way through the tutorial. This will be a major grade.

Create a project and copy all of the necessary exercise files from LocalPublic/Animation/2018-2019/MayaProjects/maya-planning-executing-complete-animaiton

Turn In:
Make sure to post updates to your blog as you progress through the videos.

Objective:
Discover what Rigid and Soft bodie dynamics are and how they work in animation.

Method:
Dynamics are a very in-depth and complex process. The following tutorials will introduce you to Rigid and Soft bodies. Work through them, but also learn as much as you possibly can about the other types of dynamics to help you with your future projects.
