Objective:
Identify and research current events within the world of information technology and their possible impact on the world.

Method:
Use the internet to research what Net Neutrality is and its impacts on the world as well as why it is currently a hot topic in our society. Find sources and use them to help you draft a letter to your congressional representative either in favor or against net neutrality.

Make sure to use facts in your letter and not just opinions.

Turn In:
Create a Google doc in the shared folder. Create a list of your sources for me and write a letter to your local congressman. Research that if you do not know who they are.

Objective:
Work with code to create and experiment with spells using CodeSpells, Hour of Code program.

Method:
Use this CodeSpellsHourofCodeSpellcraftLessonPlan to lead you through the codespells program found on the desktop of your pc. The icon to the program looks like the image below.

Turn In:
Work through the hour of code program. Take screenshots of your progress using the Snipping Tool and upload to your shared folder.

Objective:
Gain a solid foundation of the Unity UI and be able to follow a set of directions to assemble a pre-made video game.

Method:
Follow along with the videos at the bottom of this page or read through the directions on the PDF document to assemble TANKS in the Unity Engine. The document can be found with the project folder at the following location.

Copy the entire TankTut folder over to the Game Design folder in your H: drive. Once Unity is running, select open project and navigate to the TankTut project folder to open the project inside of Unity.

Turn In:
Make sure to capture screenshots of your progress to upload to your blog. Make sure to have your blog updated by Friday of this week.
